The Kai 7300 - 12" Professional Series Shear is designed for use on thicker, more difficult fabrics or on multiple layers. It is also considered an ideal length for upholsterers and upholstery projects. The 7000 Professional Series, including the Kai 7300, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel. The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge. Tackedfull Upholstery – October 29, 2025

I’m an upholsterer so my scissors are my right hand. These have been the best I’ve ever owned. I don’t know that I’ll even consider another brand again. So light weight and balanced! I’ve already noticed much less hand fatigue while cutting. But the tips are small enough to get into tight corners for precision cuts. Whether it’s linen, leather, velvet or twine…these things glide right through it with ease! I highly recommend Kai scissors to everyone!
