Please never stop making these. It is so hard to find a true left-handed scissor, let alone left-handed scissors of this quality. I own two pairs of these, one at my cutting table and one right at my sewing table—I know one of them is five years old and the other I bought just over a year ago, and I legitimately cannot tell which one is which. I use them to cut through multiple layers of denim, waterproof canvas, faux leather, and other materials and are absolute champs. Not only do they cut great, they open and close smoothly and the grips are comfortable. Truly, as a lefty I have never found any other scissors that compare to these. If I could give these scissors ten stars, I would, gladly. Again, please never stop selling these. I know one day I will have to replace mine.

As a lefty, getting a nice pair of scissors that are actually left handed meant more to me than I anticipated. It was emotional, using them the first time. Like a great relief that I don’t have to pinch scissors the wrong direction, ever again, and instantly sad thinking how much time I spent compensating, being frustrated, struggling… my entire adult life and I’d never used scissors comfortably. Doesn’t help that even brands that were revered when I was a kid aren’t good anymore. I tried paying more for scissors but the expensive ones weren’t better, just more right-handed…and titanium probably.
Those days are behind me as I own a pair of beautiful KAI N5210L’s. They were affordable and still by far the finest scissors I’ve ever held, easily. The finish is gorgeous and the Japanese steel and polymer handle feel solid like a precision tool in my hand. I WISH I’d found them years ago. If you’re looking for a gift for a lefty, this is something they might not even realize they wanted. A+
